folk / gypsy / classical

When it comes to temper, passion and virtuosity, there is little that can match Hungarian music. Magyar Hot Club presents highlights from both traditional Hungarian music, gypsy music, and some of the greatest classical music works through the ages - performed in an energetic Hungarian way.

Erika Toth is from Hungary and performs with a natural passion, accompanied by stories about the life and traditions in Hungary, as well as her own childhood. Her fellow musicians are Ola Asdahl Rokkones (saxophone), Rune Larsen (accordion) and Pål Thorstensen (double bass). Together they add just enough madness.
